Correct. Tankbuster gave a good explanation, but Sphere was more specific.

    Just kidding. Go ahead sphere.

By the way, should we award rep or is it just for fun?

Award rep to the winner, the rules are outlined in the first post.

    Delta is Correct.

(It is the equation for the deflection of a simply supported beam with a uniform load. Delta is the common symbol used to denote deflection in structural engineering)

Damn that means I need to come up with something.

What is the only long term (millions of years) successful asexual multicelled animal?

    We have a wiener!

Most species that go asexual die out pretty fast, and some that seem asexual are only asexual part of the time. The bdelloid rotifer is somehow able to dodge the bullets that doom most asexual species to extinction.

That would be one of the fundamental formulas of chemical kinetics: Arrhenius law.

    OK, my turn then.

Why is a perpetuum mobile impossible? Elaborate.

Doesn't render perpetual motion impossible, and it is in fact, ongoing, in the form of the rotational universe.

    Though that's another issue entirely.
