We, the regent of The Turkish Sultanate of Rum, offer to Infidels a peace proposal.

This peace proposal is based on the present status quo.

We agree to leave in Infidel hands Konya (to Romans), Sivas (to Franks) and Karaman (to Armenians).

We will not conquer Trebizond, so Roman Imperial family will not be decimated, the population will not be massacred and the buildings not razed.

We agree to not garisson our armies near Roman, Frankish or Armenian borders.

We agree to become vassals to the Roman Emperor.

If our peace offer is rejected, Infidels must consider that you always know when you start an war, but never when it ends and the outcome of that war. You may win a war but lose the peace as you'll be weaker and pray to other enemies. Also the Turks will do every thing possible to make Infidels pay dearly their agression so in fact third parties will be the real winners.

The Frankish Demands of the disbandment of half of the Turkish Military forces, which include all disbandment of Balistias and balista production centers, and also the disbandment of the turkish navy. With this, We have no problem to accept.

I stand in agreement with the Latins in this matter and will be happy to make peace if the Turks agree.

Turks need guarantees that peace will last and so far the size of army and equipment is the best guarantee. Turks can only agree to a gradual reduction of forces (as they are in heavy debt anyway), but they will not renounce to their fleet or ballistas. Also Christian forces must retreat to a safe distance from the borders and Franks must not mantain military forces in Roman or Armenian territory. Turks want a lasting peace not just a pause so 2 turns later they are attacked and incapable to defend themselves.

Infidels should be content with what they obtained because if they will want more, it might cost them more ... more then it worths.

As it is, The Franks are assisting their allies. We doubt the Romans will continue their war effort with the Frankish support withdrawn

We are unsure that you will follow your peace agreement, and simply buying more time to set up defenses. We will stand ground, and await the disbandment and wrecking of your production facilities of Siege weapons. If this is not met by next turn, We will keep advancing our assault.

You assist in fact Romans to their distruction because they will loose hard from this war. Let them decide if you are only assisting. Also you are anyway close to Turks to intervene.

As it is, You have been given the treaty, The Romans are willing to take some losses, but they will recover after if this is what has to be done. And you have one turn to comply.

I suggest you accept the Frankish treaty. You are simply trying to buy time and know that the Turks can be crushed easily between the Roman and Latin armies. The Latins have honored their treaties so far and no doubt they will honor this as well. I suggest you heed their voice of reason.

The Roman Emperor belives that the terms put forth by the Turkish Sultan are fair. However, we must be assured that the Turkish navy is not used against us, and that it does not get within a year's journey of Constantinople. Also, we request a safe passage for the royal family in Trebizond to Constantinople and the surrounding regions.

The Turkish regent proposal for implementing the peace is as follows :

    1. Our armies will raise the siege of Trebizond and will go to Sinope.
    2. If Roman Imperial Family wants to leave Trebizond they can build a ship and travel by sea.
    3. Our diplomat will go imediately to Trebizond and propose vassalage.
    4. Our armies in Kayseri and Kirsehir will garisson in Amasia.
    5. Our fleet will stay in Sinope harbour.
    6. Next turn our diplomat will surrender Karaman to Armenians.
    7. The Franks garrisoned East of Sivas must not advance further to Amasia.
    8. The Franks and Romans around Konya must not advance further northwards to Ankara or eastwards to Kayseri or Kirsehir.
    9. The Franks must surrender Konya to Romans and leave Roman or Armenian territory and they must not have fleets/armies in Aegeean or Black Seas.

The Franks do not care for Konya, We are trading the settlement for the Island of Cyprus. As we were the main military power of the power that which turned the balance.

Also the Settlement Sivas will be given to the Armenian Government, on part half of our alliance.

Armenia is willing to make and keep peace with the Anatolian Turks if they surrender Karaman to my control. I have offered terms. If they are rejected, I will assume you have not been faithful to the agreement and take appropriate action.

I will not interfere with the rest of your negotiations, since they do not concern me.

The Eastern Latin Empire has respected the treaty, and is pulling back. The Army near Konya has been loaded onto some boats. and we thank the Romans for accepting the deal which was Konya + 5,000 for The Cyprus Island, Also to the Armenians, We have two soldier units traveling on foot to Antioch, as they are leaving forts from the Turkish War. Please respect them, and take care of them, we have given you Sivas and 5,000 for you to do that. Also Armies of Sivas are being pulled back to Edessa. Last but not least, Trade rights were offered to The Shah of Persia.

The army has also pulled away from Arabia, and are heading back to Jerusalem, While in which, We wish to be speaking to the Marukians soon.

btw, King Baldwin wishes every one a happy newyears eve. As he will be soon spending it on the newly obtained Island of Cyprus.

Georgia is no more. its new king have been punished for his arrogance and for not listening to his dead father's advice. his people are now under direct control of the Great Khan.

Great Khan has moved his forces to bring the last remaining rebel province, Erzerum, to the hill. he is urging his neighbors and allies not to be alarmed for it is the very last Kypchak adventure and the next season Great Khan will retire back to his capital with the bulk of his forces to enjoy pleasant company of his many concubines, old and new.

Great Khan has seen enough war and beside earthly pleasures will dedicate his energies to improving lives of his many subjects. the best artisans, craftsman and builders have been invited from all corners of the world, Europe and Asia, in order to build new magnificent palace and a hunting fields to match the best Constantinople, Baghdad and Damascus have to offer.

    peace be upon you all
