When I can play multi on Warband release, the game will be hard enough with all those beta pros running around, so I really don't need to make it even more harder playing as a fist-fighter!

A matter of curiosity: I have read that teams composed of entirely one unit class are effective.
Like: Rhodok Sharpshooters or Vaegir Archers. Do those two classes have polearms available?

Also how badass is a team consisting entirely of Vaegir Archers with two-handed Axes...? (when not playing against board shields)

The vaegir archers don't get two handed axes, but you can use one if you find one on the field. The thing is with the beta right now every thing is limited, as each faction has a set tier troop that comes in archer, footman or horseman and of which can only select from certain types of weapons. I know it sucks, but I figure they wanted it this way for balancing purposes in the beginning.

It's clear that the game is still in BETA. Two slashes from a scimitar can kill a Rhodok wearing surcoat over mail, but an axe thrown deep into the head doesn't.

i dont usually tend to get the better scores that some of u do
