Problem with SI/NotN on Xbox 360

I recently bought Oblivion Game of the Year edition for the Xbox 360. I already have it for my PC, but the game crashes over and over unless I set the graphics very low, and I want to see the Shivering Isles in all of its beauty.
Anyway, I already had the original Oblivion for my Xbox 360 without the expansions, so I bought the Goty Edition when I was unable to find the expansions by them selves in any store. I downloaded SI/NotN onto my Xbox but whenever I play I never get the messages about the gate to SI or the chapel in Anvil with NotN.

I updated the original game, updated my console, waited a full day in-game (like I'm supposed to), have a hard drive, but yet I can't get the expansions to work on my pre-existing save games.

Anyone know what to do?

Do you get the message 'Loading extra content' when you turn on the game?

Yeah I got that message right when I get to the main menu.

Anyone know what I should do? I really want to play them on my Xbox 360 but I can't get them to work.

hmmm, redownload it, you wont have to repay for it and that might do the trick

I tried redownloading it around 7-8 times (lol) and it still hasn't worked. I also tried installing Oblivion onto my hardrive and then installing them, but that didn't work either.
