    4 new units from Ferres' great Greek/Macedon/Seleucid packs:



    From left to right:
    • Pontikoi Lonchophoroi, Pontic Medium Cavalry
    • Pergamenoi Epilektoi Hoplitai, Pergamon Elite Hoplites
    • Makedonoi Peltastai, Macedonian Peltasts (AOR)

    Man these units look awesome.

    It seems Egypt will the place to be in the future....
    Galatikoi Klerouchoi.....Thraikioi Klerouchoi,an army of these......supported by the agema...hehe...will be a walk in a park

    When do you want to applie them?
    The Galatikoi Klerouchoi could be a good model for a german soldier...dont you think?Maybe a different helmet...but as german elite,these dudes would rock like obituary back in the 90's.

    One common shortcoming for Variagmod units - they have too little disproportionate heads (for a normal human being, head's height is about 1 / 7 of total height)

    They're only available to Hellenistic factions (excluding greek cities). Thracians will not have them.... I'll make their late-period units myself

    but there are already 5 greek factions! I'll wait and see if the remained slots can be spent on some unique ones.

    Congratulations!!you figured it out,I do hope that what i think would be awonderfull adiition to the game suceeds. Imagine being able to expand into greece, asia minor and makedon/thrace. Not to mention the variety of units

    yes but there are already 5 very similar ones.... Wouldn't it be just like macedonia? need more unique factions!

    yes i'll add india once the map is changed in RTR VII (and enlarged I believe). But germans... I dunno about them. The best I could do is to re-make everything from EB and RS2!

    But imagine Pergamon, having selecud Kataphracts,and their own hoplites and phlangists, then add the thracians with a wonderful influx of galatian soldiers.In reality, Pergamon was reallly an expanisionist country, just allying themselves with stronger peoples(i.e Romans).they played very important pats in all three Macedonian wars.Also Pergamon itself was considered inpregnable.The way i see it, you could add India, the Sakae, and the Pergamines.

    Pergamon cannot have cataphracts because they have no access to good horses there

    But yes it sounds like I should add it... But they have to be unplayable or I'd have to kick one faction out... What about kicking greeks for pergamon? Greeks are more suitable to be unplayable since they're not united!
