Why linothorax?Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
Linothorax was prevalent among camillan cavalry, and still present on the polybian era. Thus, this unit uses two linothorakes.
The camillan equites unit also has a italic pectorale (shown on the "equipment" loading screen), a metal cuirass, and a rider wearing an exomis only. The artist just chose to preview the equites wearing a linothorax.![]()

Initially, linothorax corselets were prevalent, but were gradually falling out of favor against more heavy equipment such as mail corselets during the polybian era.
