These are strategy map buildings. We still don't have news on implementing buildings in the battlemap.
I'll let kenny, from the Romani team, to handle this.
Regarding the answers, some have been very good, others not so much, and other plain. A hint (not really, but anyways) is that all that panoply belong to units concerning the Camilian unit roster. That means Equites Romani, Hastati, Principes, Triarii, Rorarii. No one ever talked about regionals!!!
Oh, and here's a real hint: the two swords in the bottom aren't very hard to guess. Most have done it accurately. But the first one isn't what everyone thinks. :hint, hilt, hint:

I) the helmets belong to
II ) the swords are 1)Gladius Hispanensis even though the hilt looks different so its of spanish origin
2)Falcata - greek style single edged sword
3)Xyphos - greek origin double edged blade (very similar to the early celtic La Tene sword)
III ) the sheilds are 1)Round (bronze) Hoplon or Apsis(generic greek for sheild)
2)Scutum (from the latin word for shield) oval curved sheild
3)Parmula round wooden sheild with
IV ) and used by 1)Triarii
2) Hastati
3) cavalry so Equites Extrordinarii
V ) the helmets correspond to 1) hastati
2) triarii
I think![]()
Awsome, i'm seriously plying as the Romani on my first campaign
How far will I go for Rome? At least to the end of the street, I hate walking
This looks incredible, how long has it been in progress? Thank you.
Question 1:
These helmets belong to the Triarii.
Question 2:
Top Sword: I'm going to have to say this is an early Gladius Hispaniensis, though I've never seen a hilt like that. Still, I believe this is the Gladius due to the pommel and "straight" blade.
Middle Sword: This is either a Greek Kopis or an Iberian Falcata. My final answer will be Falcata, though. (Alternative picture: http://www.by-the-sword.com/acatalog...AH-4111-BN.jpg)
Bottom Sword: This is a Xiphos (Alternative picture: http://dualityentertainment.com/mike...finalsword.jpg)
Question 3:
The large, round, bronze-covered shields were known to the Romans as "Clipei".
The oval-shaped shields are "Scutum" (alternative picture: https://oncourse.iu.edu/access/conte...ahenobarb1.jpg)
The smaller round shield is a "Parma" or "Parmula".
Question 4:
The Clipei was used by the Triarii.
The Scutum was used by both the Principes and Hastati, as well as possibly the Rorarii.
The Parma was used by the Equites Romani (I am hesitant to say that though, since the shields you are displaying lack decoration, which wealthy Roman cavalrymen should have been able to afford).
Question 5:
The helmets in the top left correspond to the Hastati.
The helmets in the bottom right correspond to the Triarii.
I feel like the fact the Rorarii haven't been mentioned by anyone is a bad sign...![]()
Congratulations to everyone that tried their luck answering these questions. No one has answered all five correctly, but thanks to Louis XI and thorongill, the price will be given to the TWC community.
Special congratulations are due to Louis XI, with 2 questions correctly answered, Benz282 with 3, and thorongill with all 5 questions correctly answered, however not with the precision requiered.
Here's your prize:
