New download or a patch?

When RS2 comes out will it be in a patch from 1.5 or we have to download the thing all over again>?

As far as i am aware it will be a whole new Mod, so a new Download will be required, as it is not an add on but a whole new Mod.

Then i hope the place RS2 is going to be hosted on doesnt limit out download speeds

Rs2 is nothing like RS1.5. Yes, it will be a quite large download, but we'll do our best to put it in a number of places.

i have a suspicion that the rs1.5c download on filefront may be dodgy. my friends pc hated it so i tried the megaupload source and it worked first time. i redownloaded the filefront one several times and to several different locations on his pc....

I'm aware that it's still some time to the release day, however I can recommend rapidshare.com as an alternative host. It's fast and easy and the files get deleted only after 90 days with no single download. rapid faq
