This thread will be for the patch 3 previews and any comments you may have.

I will try to post changes included in patch 3 once they are finalized.

Vandal units
---------

The Vandal faction will have 3 new trainable units in patch 3 -- heavy spearmen, medium swordsmen and medium cav.
None of these units will have javelins

Visigoth units 1 inf unit and 2 cav units



















WRE

The Roman faction changes in patch 3 will include armor progessiion for some of the current units. There will be a noticeable diff in the number of men in a unit that now have armor and helmets. Right now IB2 only includes upg0 or the standard units and upg1 for the armor progression. I have also begun to change some of the units to dedicated spearmen and swordsmen, no javelins. A few of the units will also resemble the equivalent unit in IBRR.

May I suggest that the mercinary Samaritan Knights should not have the Chi-Rho on their shields, as that was distinctly a Roman design, which they would have recieved after joining the Roman Army.

Thanks for your comments. The Sarmatians here are trainable by the WRE. The merc sarmatians will have more varied shields. Suggest a design if you wish.



As a side note. ------------------------------


Anyone can post suggestions if they wish. The fans can post or suggest shield designs and I can attempt to duplicate them. This is your mod too!!
