    Default Your musical instruments.

What kind of musical instruments do you own? play?

    Here are mine.

This image is the most similar to the piano I have at home. My parents spent a lot of money on this one because they wanted to get me into music when I was like 7.

My first guitar was a spanish guitar when I was 15.

Then when I was better at guitar i got a cheap electric guitar at the age of 16 0r 17.

a Squire This is the same tone and everything

Then last year I felt I needed a better guitar if I was gonna be able to play some of Rory Gallagher's stuff. So I got this...

When I was 11 I got this crappy keyboard, got bored of it and used the piano for the rest of my life.

I used to play the tin whistle like 95% of my irish peers when they were younger

What am I getting in the future?

    rory gallagher effects pedal

    orange amp

And hopefully in my twenties a Jaguar. a friend of mine has one and I love the tone and playing it.

And I also plan to get a jazzmaster maybe sometime during my mid-life crisis.

Haha! That's cool. One of the neatest I ever saw was this guy busking in front of Comerica Field (Detroit Tiger's stadium) as we were leaving Ford Field (Detroit Lion's stadium) he had a small little amp with background music and some bongo drums and a mic and was doing a reggae style rap about everyone walking down the street. What they were doing, how they looked, what they were wearing and whether or not they gave him money. He was pretty good, and mighty funny, he got a single and all my change, which amounted to a little over 2 bucks.

A 1940s or 1950s era tenor saxophone my Uncle stole from the school when he was in high school.
My Dad lent me his old Korean-made Tele-star nylon string acoustic.
Guitars that I bought are a 2006 American Standard Telecaster:

(It has a maple neck instead of the rosewood)

Just recently got a Taylor 110-e steel string acoustic with ebony neck:

(You can plug the acoustic into an amp)

All of this is played through a Peavey Delta Blues 210, which has stopped being made as of last month.

The Pedals I'll usually use are a crybaby wah pedal, a digitecch bad monkey overdrive pedal, or a digitech distortion factory pedal.

I begun to learn guitar some years ago. I still suck in playing. Probably one of the worst guitarists around. With no discipline and technics but way too much heart

Though this didn't stop me to catch guitar aqcusition syndrome.
(These guitars are the cheapest in fact, all of them together would make the price of one decent guitar.

Es-335 copy, MSA western guitar, Les Paul copy, 67' Strat copy by SX

Yanagisawa alto saxophone, although my teacher wants me to get a Yamaha 62. Imagine a regular bright saxophone, then dull the color a little bit to a tanish-gold. Still got the shine but the color is much much softer and nice

    I too have a Squier.

And a battered Classical. Made in China, one of the cheapest you can buy (my first guitar). It is quite a poorly made instrument, with an improperly positioned bridge (which means it's only in tune within a few frets of the neck at any one time - if it's in tune at the bottom, it's out of tune at the top).

But it somehow sounds nice, and I genuinely love it. I named her Esmeralda.

I think it's crazy but it's so cool to name guitars
Even though it has no sense at all.

I planned to name my guitar from my girlfriend, Daniella (my sunburst-red Les Paul) but she left me.
(And I told her before: I'll name my guitar from you if you remain by my side baby )

Oh, she left though, and the blues arrived...
