Anyone know of any movies in which the bad guy actually wins and there's no sequel to undo it a la Return of the Jedi? Other People's Money is the only movie I can come up with. We need more of these desperately in the world in my opinion.

Chinatown
Isn't this thread a bit spoiler-ish?

I suppose technically, but who likes Scottish Mel Gibson anyway? In the end I don't mind the English killing him, even if they are the "bad guys."
Can't believe I forgot that one...
I refused to watch that, probably why I forgot it haha.
I suppose we could technically put Gladiator up here too, since Maximus did end up dying in the end. Also, any movie with Jack the Ripper technically ends with the bad guy winning... and Zodiac killer movies. And Wolf Creek... geeze, there's a lot more than I could think of this morning obviously.

Can't account for taste.
Every single Gundam OVA/Movie/TV series based during the Universal Century. The Earth Federation Government are the bad guys, and they always win. Though a well kept secret, they are the bad guys.
