Greetings PDER-fans (if there are any of you left)!
I know many of you are wondering about the status of PDER II. Well, rest assured, progress is being made (albeit behind-the-scenes).
And today, we’d like to present you with a preview of PDER II’s all-new map. Stretching from Lisbon to Samarkand, Nidaros to Mecca, the map is the product of many months of research and work. We’d like to think it’s the closest we can get to reality within the confines of the game’s engine. From the rugged shores of the British Isles to the vast Pontic steppe to the burning sands of Arabia to the wild mountainous terrain of Greece, the map covers an enormous range of territory. So without further ado, let’s take a tour!

Special thanks goes to gigantus for his invaluable mapping assistance and guidance! The man not only wrote a tutorial for me on how to transform raw satellite data into a working map, but he also helped sort out errors and polish up the map. The coastlines you see are all a result of his work!
Thanks also to the Roma Surrectum Team for allowing me the use of some of their strat map textures!
Thanks to Agart for his city and castle models!
Thanks to the Rusichi Team for their Kypchak village models!
