Just played the mod for the first time. Some impressions
1. The best unit’s models I have ever seen in any mod. Amazing!
2. Atmosphere is great
3.
Very crucial- Too much provinces under player control at the start. When I play (and most other players) I usually play smaller factions and quit playing when I have 10-12 provinces - then playing become pain in the ass because of micromanagement (thinking where all my characters are, where reinforcements are going, where all units are upgrading and retrained, etc etc. Here when I started as Vladimir, I got like 15 provinces at start. Unmanageable. You will turn of many players. My suggestion is to delete those village “provinces”. Not only because of huge micromanagement but because too much provincies = lot of siege warfare = also boring pain in the ass.
4. Put some more Russian principalities (I guess units models are already there). Too many rebels - the mods who have less rebels are harder and more fun to play (more strategy thinking, diplomacy, trade etc). It will be easy deal since models etc is done
5. You can also add Serbia (contact Sicilian Vesper - he is more the happy to share his Serbian units). Or if nothing, leave that one or two provinces as rebel, not Bysantium
