Default Simple Guitar and Vocals Songs

I've recently started honing my terrible voice and singing. I've covered some Bob Dylan, Beatles, a little Pink Floyd, Led Zep (Stairway) and some other trash, and now I want something different. Can anyone recommend some simple guitar and vocals songs that I could practise? I'm a beginner voice-wise but not a complete beginner in terms of guitar. I like folk rock, blues, classic rock, generally 60s and 70s stuff.

Jeff Buckley's version of Hallelujah is amazing but it would very challenging for a beginner

Space Oddity - David Bowie (just ignore the effects, i prefer it acoustic anyways)

Lua - Bright Eyes (Heck anything from the album I'm Wide Awake, It's Morning)

Flightless Bird, American Mouth - Iron And Wine

    Planet Caravan - Black Sabbath

    Yesterday - John Lennon

    Wild World - Cat Stevens

Lost Art of Murder - Pee Docherty

You Really Got Me - The Kinks

Molly's Chamber - Kings of Leon

Why Not Smile (Alternate Version) - REM

Cannonball - Damien Rice (It's not NEARLY as complex as it sounds)

    Sister Morphine - Rolling Stones

Have You Ever Seen The Rain - Creedence Clearwater Revival

Wasting My Time - The White Stripes

Babe I'm Gonna Leave You - Led Zeppelin (If the arpeggios are too difficult just strum the chords)

You can simplify nearly any classic rock song into just powerchords so there's a ton of stuff you could do there

House of the Rising Sun, if you haven't already done that. Not really sixties or seventies, but very bluesy.

I suggest something by Cat Stevens. Where Do the Children Play is a good one.

Fair play then. I don't have anything against Damien Rice, but in my honest opinion the Jeff Buckley version is superior. Although the Rice version is probably more suitable for a beginner.

Wonderwall is pretty good to play. There's not a single guitarist I know who doesn't know those chords.

Try this. Many bands from the 60s covered this song, the more famous bands being The Troggs and the MC5.

Oh I agree entirely. It's not often that a cover is better than the original, but Buckley's rendition is. The thing is though, his vocal range is (well, was...) unbelievable. And there's fingerpicking involved, so it's not really the best for a begginner.

Btw, my favourite versions of that song are Buckley (best vocals & intrumental), Cohen (best lyrics, imo), Cale (piano is nice) and Rice, in that order.

Neil Young and Oasis both have relatively simple stuff. (Actually in terms of chord progressions I think they seem to write quite similarly too)
