    Default Changing the music

I found these great themes on the EOR forum thread.

    http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=272155

I was wondering if they would be incorporated into IB2.

Until that time comes I would like to know how to change the music of my IB2 beta so that it is like these.

We will be adding new music as far as I know once we get farther along in the mod.

But, is it possible for me to change the music on my download of IB2?

It should be possible, but it'd require from you to modify some files. Unfortunately, I can't help with that as I'm not very familiar with those files in MTW2 yet.

Just put whatever songs you want into the data\sounds\music folder, place their name in the section of the descr_sounds_music.txt you want to hear them,(i.e battle, strat_map, win\lose etc.) don't forget to put .mp3 after the name of the song, and then just delete the events.DAT file in data\sounds and your done!
See it's not that hard,(one of the first things I modded in RTW) so you shouldn't have that much trouble with it at all.

PS:Just make sure to have the songs/tracks in mp3 format and if any have spaces in their names just replace them with underscores.

But I don't actually have music folder. Probably some problem with unpacking.

Do you have vista windows? Be careful unpacking files which can be done but it may cause conflicts with your game

I'm not sure what needs to be done but with my vista windows I've had problems with my game after unpacking files
