    How are Blackroot Vale archers going to contribute to Gondor roster? Where is thier nieche, they seem quite redundant to me.

    I would guess longer range, better accuracy and more ranged damage compared to the plate armored archers, but weaker melee capabilities (obviously). I'd also guess that they would be barrage type archers, as opposed to the sniper type archers the Rangers provide.

    This was actually also concerning me, but there is a "nice" animation bug (actually the first nice bug that I ever encountered) which prevents that Ents can clim up or walk with ladders, so this won't be possible.

    In a certain way, yes. They will have a mediocre morale, so if you shoot them with many fire arrows, they are likely to flee. Their real weakness (damage-wise) will be axes and other armor-piercing weapons

    one question if i may? are there gunna be retinues for faction leaders that relate to the fact that his faction now controls the initial capital of an enemy faction? so for example, Dain, King of the Dwarves could also have the ret as king or emperor of the Rhun (i have never played evil faction so i dont kno what they are called) and then when that faction leader dies the rets like that transfer to the heir. and if you lose the city (eg umbar) you lose the ret. is that possible?

    how will the heros be implemented? Will they be generals of a unit or just a stand-alone unit? Also, will they be extremelly kick-ass to the point were I dont have to baby sit them on my monitor, watching for them to turn bloody them pulling them back? I had to do this for the normal generals.

    They will be generals, but if they will be "super"heroes i don't know sorry....

    Is there a gameplay mechanic that makes a distinction between sniper and barrage archers, or is it just a difference in gameplay?

    If you will be making Dale, will it be in time for the 1.2 patch??
