New screens aswell. Looks pretty good. I think that the 'learning curve' they talk about is for people who havnt played HoI2 though.

I am so seriously looking forward to this game. Better sleep now while i can. When this thing comes out; I'll probably not sleep for at least a month....
Yeah this is THE game I'm looking forward to this year. From the looks of things and all the previews I've read this could be Paradox's best grand strategy game to date and that is a hell of accomplishment.
Not a fan of the art design. Too much grey.
i thought you could paly any nation? the picture only shows the big players
I come in peace, I didn't bring artillery. But I am pleading with you with tears in my eyes: If you F___ with me, I'll kill you all.
- Marine General James Mattis, to Iraqi tribal leaders
Nostalgia aint as good as it used to be
Im sure you will have to change the nation as you do in every other HoI. Right click the flags
You can play as any nation but countries like Greece and Hungary are either impossibly difficult or really boring (at least in HoI 2). You're really meant to be playing nations like France, Italy, America, Russia, etc.
The screen shots look good. It seems they've really added a lot of content to the political and diplomatic part of the game; something I think was a little bit lacking before compared to the war component.
I enjoy playing as Albania (I of course use a code or 2 :surprise)
No-one blames you
You start with -5 manpower as Albania, don't you?
I've been reading up on this game the past few days and it's getting me all excited and looking forward to it despite that I said I'd wait for the inevitable complete version in 2 years or that I simply wouldn't be buying paradox games anymore.
The graphics are kind of ugly, it'd be cool if the sprites were numerous guys running around like the units in Civ 4, but I can see how it'd probably slowdown computers, but it should be an option. The zoomed out borders look better but still get ugly and messed up looking in areas, specifically east Europe, just doesn't look right to me for some reason. Guess I'll just see if I can stand it in the demo.
Only played the demo of HoI(the doomsday one) but had no idea what to do. Seemed much more complex than Victoria, and from the DDs, still sounds really complex. Still can't wait to try it.
I know it's in the negatives. Which is why if you give them a few battleships, they'll disband them, get the manpower and build infantry, which stops the Italians from landing.
Good times, good times
My bad, in Armegeddon, you start with -20 manpower as Albania
Wow, that's worse than I thought
It makes it even sadder that they're able to fend off Italy sometimes
