Default Rome First Player RPG based in 230 BC

Have you ever wanted to play as one of your characters on Rome: Total War? ever wanted to be a member of the Senate, the Army or even a single Businessman? Well we've started a Roleplaying game which would be perfect for your wishes. Our Game takes place in 230 BC, some 10 Years after the First Punic War. Rome's Navy has been established, however the Carthaginians still are a threat to Roman supremacy in the Region. Play as a character in the Senate, a voice for not just your ideals, but for your Family as well. Generate Wealth, build Politicial coalitions, triumph in War and become famous in the Roman Republic.

Battles in the game will be held using the Rome: Total War game, using a definate system for battles. Other states other then Rome are all NPC played.

At the moment, we're currently running a Beta version of the game, however any and all help is welcomed in the testing.

Well, if I, Belisarius, the Black Prince, and you all agree on something, I really don't think there can be any further discussion.

Nope, just long hours into the night working out Rules for the game. We've been constantly adding and taking, almost like working in a kitchen so to say. As well, experience from past games have given us a good insight into how to manage things like the players and their involvement, and how to keep the game and it's rules clean and able for all to understand.

Screenshots of battles from the Alpha are available in the Board's Archives..

Note : The Beta is now cancelled/paused.
(It may resume, but plans for the real game are going ahead)

Anybody who is interested, in playing the game and not currently in the Beta can PM one of us (Me,Stansilaw e.t.c.) so we can get a better idea of the amount of players.
