    Default Unit sizes

i am just wondering, why are the huge unit settings only have 40 men per group, did you do this because this was the size of units in that time period?

Yes, we haven't changed the unit settings from their defaults. It should be 40 on normal, 80 on large and 160 on huge.

I tried it again, and it works fine on my end...

Try this: go to your RTW folder, and from there go to tgw/preferences/ and edit the file preferences.txt.

There is a line which defines unit size. For large size, it should read:
    UNIT_SIZE:80

If it is UNIT_SIZE:40 in you cases, change the 40 to 80 and save the file. Then try starting a campaign again.

for some reason it did it for me too although when set on huge settings it is the right scale and same for normal and small or w.e but when you set to large it stays at normal settings the preferences are all right too=O lol its weird but oh well just do huge units.

You need to start a new campaign to get new unit sizes.

in my sub mod all infantry are 240 men strong and cavalry 100 at huge setting.with the ''stock'' version of tgw though i never get your problem im getting 160 at huge setting but like other said your trouble is surely easy to fix with the preference text file.
