The armor is most problematic, Im completely unsatisfied by tree on breastplate as it lack that "3D" look. The bracers were made by Matko, he allowed me to use them (if he changes is mind then I will figure out out something), the pauldrons will be borrowed from M&B. The lower armor texture havent been edited yet (its from vanilla)

I still need to work out UV map for helmet so no texture for now.

I also created gondorian battle shield

My work isnt highest quality, but when Im done I will release it so peoples messing with gondorian rooster can include units using unique gondorian armor.

    HELP NEEDED
I need someone who could help me with textures, I can do a basic outline how it should look but Im crappy at graphics.
    Please help
When you are done with your units can I use them in the sub-mod: The Unfinished Tales?
I'm having UV mapping problems with my models too. Do you know how to fix it? If so would you please tell me how? Thanks.

The UV maps are tricky, I would suggest you reading Alletun's Tome of Knowledge, its pretty well explained there .

im still learning myself at texturing, but do you have a texture done? if yes then you should try working with the normal maps to get the tree to stick out on the breastplate, ive used it for a couple of units and it's work wonders for me. here is a link to show you how

Normal map isnt enough, texture itself doesnt looks, just compare image on bracer and tree on breastplate.

Thanks for tip, it set me on right track. I searched in web and found tutorial, applied it to my work and I made armor look better (I think).

    What do you think?

And thats the problem, the tree should look embossed (its right word?), Im experimenting now to make it look right. Still it looks good.

Thanks again axnsan, the bump mapping trick makes wonders .

photoshop has an emboss option. i think gimp has it too
and i think the bump map should be able to make objects seem embossed too...

I'd prefer the tree to be hammered out than hammered in...so the one above is better for me; if you think about how the breastplate would be made, hammered out would kinda make more sense

    Great job otherwise!!
