VI Sicilian Names Fix?

I recently decided to pick up VI again, and was immediately reminded of the issue with screwed up Sicilian names. Is there a fix for this issue anywhere?

I get so tired of looking at Gaelic names for them.

Hello AlexanderPrimus,

Well, assuming that you want to use some other stock names, whatever it may be, you locate the correct folder and open up the “DEFAULT_HEROES.TXT”-file. It is found right here: “C:\Program files\Total War\Medieval - Total War\campmap\names” and read
the instructions offered in the “DEFAULT_HEROES.TXT”-file and then you assign the new numbers to the Sicilian entries, by default
these are….

“SET_FORENAMES:: FN_SICILIAN 14 8”
Change the “14” entry to whatever “forenames-group” (some number) is desired instead…

“SET_SURNAMES:: FN_SICILIAN 3”
Change the “3” entry to whatever “surnames-group” (some number) is desired instead…

Well that’s pretty much is it. Don't forget to backup the file.
