Well I'm here.
Well I'm here.
TheHappyCrusader its good to see post it seems that enough of the dev team is still here and it gives me hope that this will get the attention it needs. Just need to rock to start rolling then it cant be stopped.
As for as different Continents go I think just start with Eastern Kingdoms. Start at maybe the second Orc war and slowly move towards The Third War. When Kalimdor gets introduced have it like as an event like in M2TW for America. maybe even start at First Orc War that way you guys will have plenty of time to move to the Third War and Beyond. Blizzard has done this slowly bring patches out that move the story along when players begin to get bored with the First War etc
I have suggested this to them before, although my personal opinion was that the best time was to set the mod 100 years prior to the First War and have the Orcs coming in a similar way to the Mongolians in the Vanilla campaign. I've even got a huge map of the Eastern Kingdoms done (not a playable map, but a map showing each region and the name of each town associated with it), and the locations of each of the factions. It would work nicely too, because there aren't so many far-out creatures during this time period which makes animating and modelling a lot easier. If anyone wants the map, let me know.
However, I am fully behind the mod this team wants to make, I just hope that they manage it![]()
Sorry for the absence, we are not dead, in fact, there's a new preview (I hope) coming up soon ^^
I hope to play this very soon. Any chance you could put a progress bar up so we can see What you have done and what needs attention?
Lol, nice to see this mod going onwards! It warms, trust me.
I'm sorry that I can't be any assistance anymore -After a year on school, I'm actually getting paid for the kind of things I used to do here, the 2D art and such.
The best of luck

Hello I wonder if you have taken a beta for this game to prove it, but I would like to know when will be more or less ready, that looks great. Thank you.
Nope, in fact there are two new modellers who just recently joined the group, the remaining 2D art is advancing steadily and as you saw by HappyC's post the map is even more completed and now he's moving on to script the placeholder units (which means that by the time we have the real units it'll just be putting them in their respective places on the mod). So, as he said, we'll probably have a playable Alpha campaign release (but without custom units) sometime soon. Can't make any real promises though, what I can say is that this mod is catching wind again after drifting a bit on the aimless side for so long.
Its nice to see this mod still going, I'm excited to play.
A pity you guys lost all Moravex's amazing work.
Great news to see all you guys going on with this. It would've been a pity to see it disappear after all that work that has been done for it. It was such a great loss and blow what happened to you earlier but I am glad to see you got the will to move on and still working to bring this to life. Good job!
Well everyone, here's a little preview of what I've been working on
