Yes unfortunately it's not. However we do notify if we delete an entire thread that a user had started or a long wall of text that was deleted. Obviously he put some time into it and if there was a problem with it then he\she will know, otherwise there's no point of moderation action here as the user doesn't knows what was wrong and might do it again.

And in such situations where we think it's not worth notifying and the user suspects that some post got deleted then the best method to enquire about it is to contact any assigned moderator of that section who's online. He will quickly see your recent posts and see the deleted one, it has an icon of a bin "" So easier for him to notice and tell.

But the usual hint here is that you got lucky that the moderator didn't bother with an infraction or a note.

It's amazing how many threads and posts asking why x was closed would be spared if people just read the closure message—that's why we put them there in the first place. Or, if the message isn't clear enough, PM the moderator who posted it.
