Go into any region and population then region factors.....desc shows 'starting city population' when it should be 'current city population.'
Checked it by looking at the save game startpos and comparing with the actual game.
Going back to population 'starting population' is incorrect as when you start the game the figure is the same as 'current starting population' unless the population increases when you start a game hence 'starting population would be correct.
2nd line figure is constant throughout the game and same as 4th line in region factors hence 'All regiom population?' is incorrect....don't know what this is yet.....however at the start of a new game the 2nd line figure is also the same as the 3rd line in region factors...but as the game progress the 3rd line figure increases but not the 4th line.
Now the 3rd line in region factors looks like the maximum population the region can sustain/support food wise.

How so.....started the game and noted the population and population growth.....edited startpos and input a higher figure in 'current city population.' than 3rd line in region factors and started the game and the population growth went into negative and after one turn the population decrease. But if 'current city population.' is lower than the 3rd line in region factors then there is no negative population growth.
Does this stuff still work for Napoleon? I'm trying to make Scotland playable and a republic, and I did this both by coding and by making a hybrid, but the game crashes when I try to load a campaign as Scotland. I've done it before in ETW, but NTW is giving me a hard time.

I'm editing the startpos in DMUC_Cmain folder, and it's the Causu Belli one. I know it's the 6th line, i need to change to True, however when i save it, i cannot reopen it. It says "Unsupported valute type: 150 at: 0." and then ESF editor crashes.
Then, if i try to start up a campaign with Denmark, it crashes aswell, it's the only think i've been editing in the startpos.
EDIT: Ignore this post, as i managed to solve the problem, by downloading an older ESF editor.

How can I change the Technology for a nation? For example if I want Denmark to have rights of man in Hussers Late Campagn ?
I'll get straight into it:
I was able to make Colombia a playable minor nation and everything worked fine until summer 1707. At the end of the AI turn, when Colombia is supposed to start its Fall turn I CTD. I have attached the save and startpos file, maybe I messed up the victory conditions on the grand campaign?

husserlTW, what is the most efficient way to change protectorate to ally status? On page 13 http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...42#post6525942 you list the method, is this the best way?
It just pisses me off when I see my ally Poland being destroyed while Saxony and Courland having stacks just hanging around and not attacking Poland's enemies.

You say change the capitol city ID where do i find out what the ID number is????
They all have the value of 0. apart from the major factions
Check the REGION record in REGIONS_MANGER.
Can you remove units from the campaign game starting armies?

Hi. I make first time one hybrid startpos.esf file.
this will not negatively affect the CAI? The new campaign will behave the same as a vanilla campaign? ?

can u give a link to make CAI modding? I mean a guide or so, where i can knowing what tables what to do?
example: "campaign_ai_personality_junctions_tables" and there was found many definitions witch values :
"DEFENCE_AND_INVASION_FORCE_STRENGTH_ANALYSIS_INVASION_FORCE_DISCOUNT_PROPORTION_FOR_ADJUSTED"
and so on. I dont know really what make if i lowered or inkreased the values.... etc.
maybe there a good guide or tuto for making CAI more agressive?
