    Default M.M.C. released

    M.M.C. stands for My Mod Cocktail, it is a mix between AU by Agostinos, UB by axnsan, my own AOR removal, and some other tweaks I made for myself.
    I want to thank Agostinos and axnsan for their wonderful mods.

    Contains

    Mods


    • The Additional Units mod by Agostinos, this adds a few wonderful units to the game
    • The Unique Buildings mod by axnsan, this adds unique buildings like the White Tree at specific settlements
    • The AOR removal mod by me, this enables you to recruit AOR units everywhere (once you meet the requirements)

    Tweaks

    • I made the HE, SE and Gondor stronger by giving them better buildings from the start. This helps them to hold of factions like the OotMM and Mordor longer
    • I made certain units recruitable earlier, but adjusted the amount and how many turns you had to wait
    • Made Dale Cavalry recruitable for the Dwarves at stables
    • Added a fort at West-Lebbenin


    Requirements
    Have a clean installation of TA:TW 1.1 and no other mods.

    Installation
    Just unpack the files in your TA:TW folder, for example: C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\mods\Third_Age and overwrite.

    Note that I just combined a few files, and that most credit should go to the makers of these mods.

    Do I need permission to just mix it? If I do, I'm sorry.
    But I'll ask it however, can I mix UB with AU and a few other things?

    you don't need permission to mix, you need permission to upload/post a direct link to a file that was created by someone else

    and that's not just for my sub-mod, but as a general rule.
    you can link to the thread of something, but you can't post the direct link to the hosting site.

    El Cid,

    1. Permission from the author/creator is required whenever you're releasing a sub(mod) that contains someone else's work (that goes only for public releases, do whatever you want privately).

    2. The creators who's mods are being used should be credited in the op (use specific names).

    3. List (at least in general) the changes/modifications you've made (and why you made them). No one's going to rummage through the files or the game itself trying to figure out what exactly is it that you've changed.

    The rules concerning mod/software authorship are perhaps the most strictly enforced ones here on TWC, don't ignore them or be casual towards them.

    OK, tnx I didn't know that, I will edit the top post with the demands you said Jean. But now remains the question:
    Can I post the link to the download?

    I PM'd Agostinos, but he hasn't been around for some time...

    You can post a link (essentially 'release' the submod) to your file after the above conditions are met. Agostinos should get an email notification about your pm so hopefully it won't be too long a wait.

    I prefer my RR/RC with additional units, combined with the Unique buildings, the more trade mod, the visual enhancement and the elven lore mod

    This seems like my type of mod. I'm not big on the RC mod.
