    Default AOR removal

    Contains
    This file removes a lot of AOR from units, I did this because:
    1. It is annoying if you can't retrain your AOR units while on campaign
    2. The good factions were overrun too fast, this helps to prevent that

    I also made conversion buildings cheaper.

    For people that say:
    "But you can't recruit fountain guards in .......
    (fill in yourself), it is not right according to the lore."

    It is impossible to accurate to the lore, if you would, you wouldn't be able to recruit Gondor Infantry in Gundabad either.

    Requirements
    Have a clean installation of TA:TW 1.1 and no other mods.

    Download
    http://files.filefront.com/export+de.../fileinfo.html

    Installation
    Drop the file in your data folder, for example: C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\mods\Third_Age\data and overwrite.

    Feel free to modify it yourself, but if you use it in your mod, of course give credit to me.

    Eh good effort but I think removing the AOR for some ruins the game somewhat...as in, Dunlandings (or Dunlanders w/e) did not expand beyond that region just north of Rohan and just west of the Misty Mountains. You shouldn't be able to recruit them in, say, the depths of the Misty Mountains

    Sorry to burst your bubble but it helps gameplay too... makes it much more difficult for the player... unless your one of those kids who likes things simple that is.

    But it's just...weird. I actually had problems with M2 because I was recruiting Venetian Heavy Infantry in the depths of Russia...it just wasn't done.

    Depends on the person...some people have either watched the movie a lot, or are fans of the actual books (or both), and those people can probably derive much more enjoyment from a more accurate implementation of lore. For others, who just play cause they know some stuff about Middle Earth and thinks its really cool...might not matter so much.

    This whole game is not lorewise, it Tolkien saw this game, he would get a stroke.
    Is that clear enough? I just made it for myself. And uploaded it so maybe a few other people without modding skills would enjoy it, if you don't like it, then don't download.

    The goal of this game is to be lorewise AND fun. What mod have not these GOALS is at best a weird submod for TA.
    To be exactly lorewise is impossible. Just the Tolkien books are. But that's not an argument to do no matter what.

    That was not clear. Just don't insult Third Age (and then their makers) as an argument for your mod.
    For me being clear (as far I can write english), remove this sentence and you will be ok: "if Tolkien saw this game, he would get a stroke"

    I have never meant to insult the Third Age team. The only thing that I want to say is that, like you said, it is impossible to be 100% correct. So that if I want to recruit Helmingas in Erebor, I can! I expected that someone would say that it is not lorewise.
    But according to the lore, you couldn't recruit Gondor infantry in Gundabad either!

    And last, I want to say that if someone doesn't like it, then he/she shouldn't download it and don't come nagging about the lore.

    Now is that clear enough?

    He made a mod for himself, and decided to share it with others,

    Well the file should be the same name but the content should be different? I'm not sure I haven't used it (as you might be able to tell)
