Artistic Inspiration
I didn't know where to put this post, so I thought it would be abit of a pun to stick it here. Hope this is ok.
It is worth looking around well as their are some stunningly painted ancient warfare figures, including Elephants, etc.
I like the use of leather and bronze armour on the Ptolemic elephant and the hinged thigh armour on the persian cavalryman.
Anyway I thought perphaps some of you highly talented skinners may gleam some inspiration from these Russian artists.

That’s a very good website. The Roman figures look amazing with the high quality detail that the artists put in. I'm sure a lot of skinners could use that website.
