I've allready given my opinion before, but here it is again.

If the companies would esign their games properly and gave continuous updates on a server where you must have a account and a cd key saved there (so you dont have to save the cases) then you wouldn't need Starforce at all. If they simply kept adding content and updates on a remote server like that like what is done with Galactic Civilization and Half-life 2 then copy protection would be dead.

Starforce almost always makes the game no longer work on computers with legitimate cds as most other copy protection does. Its pointless and stupid and is easily broken within the same day if not before the game is released. Idk why they dont see this fact, any game with any kind of protection WILL have a crack out for it SAME DAY as its release if its any good.

You can't blame the game companies though, they are usually run by idiots who have no idea what they are doing anyways.
