[Solved] cash discrepancy

When I look at my government page, it says that I can expect a net income of $4300 th enext turn. I had about $500 in my treasury. Next turn howver, my treasury went down to $300. Next tuen, although I was supposed to have an income of $4300...it went down to $100 (roughly). What is going on here? I read the APE:TI manual but didnt see anything.

well for one, did you check your education costs?

Am.az is correct -- click on and of your schools and you should see the research/upkeep costs.

The way CA did the financial data prevents us from adding the reasearch/upkeep costs into the financial tab and that causes it to seem to just go missing.

My government menu said I was supposed to make about $4200 the next turn and I had about $2500 in the treasury. At the end of the turn though, I had a total of $5000 in the trasury. 4 turns later, I am down to $800 even though the gov. menu says that with trade and taxes, I am supposed to making $4,000 per turn? these are the first few turns of the game....what am I missing here? is the governmet screen that shows tax and trade revenue not accurate?

Did you check your education costs? each school has upkeep now.

MikeCK - Here is your original thread on the same question with the answer!

This cost is most likely the research.upkeep cost of your schools -- we cannot add it to the other portions of the financial tab; a fault of CA's.
