Original Russian flag?

Sorry if this has been posted, I did a quick search and found nothing. Anyway, I'd just like to know whatever happened to this flag...

IMO this is a much cooler flag than the one used in the release. Vanilla's Russian flag is basically just a grittier version of the modern flag with the coat of arms jammed in the side. Anybody know why they decided the new flag would be better?

100% agreed. I kind of wish CA would've kept it. If you notice, the original Ottoman flag is also different (green instead of red).

I can make it quick , but Ill make it compatible with vanilla only . From there someone else can make it compatible with other flag mods .

Wow, just ran into a big problem . Apparently the DDS plugins for for Photoshop arent compatible with 64-bit CS4 . I had a 32-bit version of CS3 before , but I upgraded to CS4 when I get Windows 7 RC . I assumed it should work fine , but it doesnt seem to be doing so . So all I can get done for you guys is the battle flag and the the icon in the custom battle menu until I can find some way to get the DDS plugin on my version of Photoshop .

Unless someone with a working 32-bit version of photoshop with the proper DDS plugins would like to change the flag in the proper DDS file . Ill gladly guide you if any of you want to do it for me , just PM me .
