APE:TI Pre-Battle Screens & Historical Note?

Hi All,

The APE:TI Pre-Battle Screen showing the battle paintings and the historical notes attached about the battle... where did you get these? Is it from a book? Is it possible to get and read these?

Don't all rush in with an answer...

I suppose it's kinda sad but when I was playing TW Rome, I read loads of Roman and Greek history books. When playing Medieval, I read loads of Middle Ages history.. and hey! surprise surprise, now I'm playing Empire, guess what? .. yeah! I'm reading about Napoleon etc and Wars of the 17th and 18th century.

So I was just asking about the splash screens, because the historical notes attracted my interest.

Yes, the loading screens were provided by Captain Cox.

You can download them from his thread or extract them from the GraphicsPack!

Lol they are awesome... Although (and I know this is a small thing lol) but in the next update of APE:TI you could raise the picture a little bit, So I could read the outcome part of the battle brief lol as my loading bar is in the way lol.

I second that. maybe get Captain Cox to move the text upwards or crop the picture? or get rid of the fade out at the end?
It's slightly frustrating as you can see all the battle stats but you don't know who won.
