    Default New Forum Software

As you can see we have installed new forum software.

We will skin it to make it look like it did before we took the forums down, so don't worry about that .

Hopefully this will alleviate any future problems with regards to database loss.

I will look into the nav bar.

I am sort of new to the whole system myself, so we shall see how it all works out.

This is great. I love vB, but vB is really expensive, did you guys just decide to go out and buy it?

I think Sunday night I came home from work. Mithras messaged me link to vB and is like we are gonna have to buy it.

Next day I come from work and we bought the software.

All in all we spent close to $700 for all the sites to use it.

You guys are installing it all across orgesnet? Quite a job, going to take a while to complete, but the security features are worth it I think.

Wow, you guys are going to have a job on your hand with all the re-skinning. But yea, vB is an amazing piece of software. Powerful enough that 1 admin could run a forum with over 1 million members. Of course with some staff and that stuff.

I would like to thank all the people who put in the time and effort to get back up and running. I know you still have alot of work and tweaking to do and I for one appreciate the effort and dedication that was put into this effort.

So is *the Hacker* finally gone? Did he bugger off to go puch old ladies down stairs or something?

What was his name or will he always be *the Hacker*.....? Did he have a cool handle like the "Br0Wn BaNd1T" or "DicK ClaRkE's FrENULUM"?

Is the message streamer every coming back? (on the front page) I kind of liked that.....

Oh and good job getting the site up.

I love such descriptive nicks, spiced up by a small dose of 1337N355! They bestow a level of maturity upon the bearer and show off an ability to express oneself unrivaled by simple urm names.

Btw how did you guys get across 700 dollares? Suppose they dont grow on those buckbushes?

I think a few of the civitates had to be a little... "enterprising"... with their bodies. Fulfilling their civic duty and all that.

Its called saving money Lecnac. The ads do make us some money, and over time it builds up.

I did not expect ads to make those amounts of money, but then again I dont have much of a clue about internet advertisement, since I use mozilla *g*
