One of the problems with hotseat is that you get money from the script since on the other turn the engine sees your faction as an Ai faction.

With the hotseats in other mods that doesn't happen only in the RTW hotseat. However none of the other mods use a script as advanced as the EB script.

With the hotseat mode in METW though, Isn't METWII more advanced with telling who is who?
I am too, really hoping that theirs hotseat for this magnificent mod. Rome Total War on a cool hotseat. yeah XD

Hot seat is hard coded into the game you know. They couldn't remove it even if they wanted too, not that they've ever said they wanted to mind you. As far as game play and scripting goes, that could effect the game in ways that it wouldn't a single player game, but I'd be willing to bet it would still be playable.
Weird, I thought I replied to this the other day only to return to a lack of a post on my part. How odd.

Your post most have gotten lost with the downsite. However, you're wrong the mod LTC to my disapointment took out hotseat campaigns.

You can quite easily enable them in .cfg file. As I said they can't completely disable them. Hot seat is a permanent part of the game.
