Actually, its not from the people that brought us elder scrolls. Its being made by Splash Damage, the people who ported Doom 3 to consoles. Can't say I'm interested until a see something representative of the game.

Thanks for that, just noticed it. The trailer doesn't give much info, but the setting seems quite interesting. Mmmmh, dystopian future...

And they also did Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory and Quake Wars, both good MP games.

Well, it looks like Splash Damage is just giving us Generic Shooter #2092128 set in a futuristic, post-apocalyptic world.

    Screens:

I can already guess the story line. The "Ark" is an exclusive escape from the problems of the world held by some tyrannical government. You play "freedom fighters" trying to take back the ark for the people. Generic shooter with cover system ensues.

Excitement = 0 for this offering right now.

i agree with DG it does look and sound v contrived, and the game designers don't really hv anything good under their belts

    definatly just a generic shooter.

It does look pretty but if a shooter is mainly created with multiplayer in mind my expectations drop to zero since it means there wont be a decent story included.

They could be focusing on an Elder Scrolls instead of this

This is not being made by Beth, they are just publishing it.
This game is being made by the ones that did Enemy territory.

Just found this trailer for an upcoming game and thought it was interesting. It's set on a floating city/utopia gone wrong because of overpopulation. Gameplay and character customization look great. So any thoughts?

well I always figure that if the gameplay and the graphics are good and on par for the time, then the game is pretty good.

Look at Battlefield Vietnam (BC2 version): onlly multiplayer, but very well executed, good gameplay, and great graphics.

I don't let a lack of story really affect my game decisions, I just want good gameplay, alright graphics and some nice multiplayer.

I think your going to find lots of it in this game, I gotta say that it looks really good. Definately going to pick this up.
