    Default Pom's Mods..new links.

Hi all, first sorry I have not been about for a while, and sorry to all those who have PM'd me with no reply, I can only guess they all went the way of the spam folder.
I've uploaded the vanilla versions to a new site, the Darth versions are missing,(had some issues with my files).
As far as I can tell they all still work, if anyone wants to make Darth versions, or use them for any other projects they may have, then feel free.
Nice to see the game still lives.

Nice to see you here Pom

Maybe could you ask the Vault team to keep a copy of your mods.
Doing so, they should be able to upload them if older link are broken.

Moreover, as we are some people experiencing problems with gamefront (Game/Filefront limited service), can I suggest to create mirror links to mediafire for example ?

    Hi Pom,

Great to see you back. I have kept your mods in play over the last 18 months, still the best and most varied set of British troops out there (although spongemod has produced a few nice infantry types that can be recruited in London and are compatible with yours)

I know that you have probably moved on from this mod by now, but would it be possible to update your British mods slightly to include personal equipment, as you did for the Italian states, which look fantastic? I'm not keen on the old equipment tweak mod, since the pouches are too small, random and fit oddly on the figures.

Ideally, battle order of ammunition pouch, hanger, and belt pouch would be great. Marching order with haversack would be nice, but optional. As a minimum, troops need the ammunition pouch (as per the spongmod infantry). Bare straps just do not look right.

    More in hope than expectation.....

All the best for the season

Thanks for response Pom. Hanoverians look really good. If at some later stage you feel like re-equipping the Brits, that'd be marvellous.... .

I'll see if I can finnish these guys, if that goes ok, will have a look at the Brits, I admit I would like to have a proper go at them, although I will have to grovel to Geronimo2006 as I left him and the Colonialism mod well before it was finnished although I see it's nearing completion now.

Thanks Wangrin, as I said above, will see if it's still there, love the bagpipes by the way, yours I assume, if I do the Brits they would have to find a place.

Good to hear from you as well, hope all is well with you, trying to re-learn everything I've forgotten,
it's annoying some of the basics that you forget, as well as trying to find old files. (Had some PC issues)
Anyway, hope to find some inspiration.

I forgot all things too, but some hours ago I wonder how many things came back. Your spanish are really nice. Now this is a reason to play with them.

Now I've used your spanish and wagrins french mod to add regiments I did not finish. I will post some screenshots later. This was very good exercise .

I've add line inf. and line grenadiers for 5 rgts. (replace some militia) for spain Changed mesh and textures.
Rgts: Castilla, Leon, Sevilla, Granada, Espagna.
Source: SYW Project as usual, where I was a part of .

I must said that it's really great to see both of you again

Note that, if you want to join I.S team, we have plenty of work to do ^^
    • Flikitos and I are working on French and Great Britain
    • MegasAlexandros is working on early and mid Prussian
    • Flaviuss is working on Russians
    • Don504 is working on USA
    • JaM and PikeStance are working on Battle Combat Mechanic
    • 162eRI en Herr_Doctor are working on flags (state / regimental / naval)

But I.S goal is to completely replace vanilla ETW models...

So, any help with Spanish and Austria, two really big and complex factions would be welcome

And if you have forget some tips and trick, Bethencourt began a tutorial here : [Tutorial] Modeling. Milkshape and UU3D. How I use them

    Some good news :
    • It should be possible to create new cs2.parsed file (collision model) for ETW/NTW using CA tools for S2TW
    • It should be possible to create new garrisonable buildings for ETW/NTW using CA tools and the new PFM

This project will be surely great.

But if I'm honest I don't have much time for such big projects.

Could you please send a link for this project?

Don't you thing there are many models make by you, pom and me, which are enough to create a full mod for all factions?

I think great britain, prussia, france, spain, italy, austria are 90% ready by us.
