How to create realistic rain

Im here to show you how to create realistic rain using Photoshop CS4 /they are almost all the same/

Open your pic and hit new layer and rename it "Rain"

Fill it with white color and add noise

Go to Image/Adjustments/levels and do like on pic

Go to filter/blur/motion blut /angle:-52 distance:24/.Use "screen" as a blend tool

For the end duplicate "Rain" layer and go to edit/transform and rotate duplicated layer for 190 deegres!

I thought this tut was quite good. Helped me a lot at least. nice work!

the only thing you left out is what is in the other tut Raybag posted, where you make the different layers, closer and farther to simulate real rain. It was still very helpful though.

Well since my other post got deleted by sever crash or whatnot, I'll post it again.

I didn't post that link because I thought yours was bad, just it was a little more elaborate.

Ok, I had a pretty bad mistype in my last post, which has since been edited. I meant to say "the link that Ratbag POSTED" but I ended up saying "the link that Ratbag BOASTED".

Just wanted to say thats what I really meant, and I wasn't trying to say that Ratbag "boasted" that he had a better tut.
