End of turn loading
Hello, guys.
My problem is as follows:
I am playing(more accurately trying to play) with Prussia and the year is 1755, however I literally can't play due to the enormous time that it takes to load between two turns. At the beginning it used to load for less than 1 min and gradually(till 1750) the time interval rose to nearly 1.5-2 mins which was slightly irritating but still bearable. Since then something happened and now I have to wait for 15mins! Currently my provinces including Central Europe, parts of Eastern and Western, most of Southern and the Arabic states are about 35 but there was no difference between the time when they were 3 and 30. The problem started or probably deepened when I conquered the Iberian peninsula and expanded towards Africa. The Mughals have the second biggest empire and their flag now stays for ~1min but Georgia!!!!!(yes, Georgia-only 1 province) is loading for 10mins+. About 1/2 of the nations got eliminated already but nevertheless it's getting worse and worse. I will need at least 15 turns to conquer Georgia(if that can solve the problem) because my road passes through Turkey(or Russia) which preserved and strengthened their empires. Furthermore, my forces are almost entirely concentrated in western direction which means additional time for relocation.
The CPU moves are off and my laptops has:
Intel Core 2 duo 2.5ghz
4 gb ram
GeForce 8400M GS
+maybe not all the newest drivers but certainly not old
+almost everything is on "low" and "off"
+ETW runs well on weaker PCs.
Does anybody how can I solve the problem and what causes it?
