#8 Looks like a Criccieth castle in Wales
8 is conwy castle
7 random guess windsor
Wow, those are truly gorgeos, brings great atmosphere to the game!!
can see the similarity of #8 to criccieth, but I'll suggest Dolbadarn as criccieth has a double drum tower gatehouse and #8 doesn't.
I'm suspecting #6 is a scottish border castle so will go looking for some of those.
(only because I can see a red and a blue border line in the background.)
(well i will when vista has finished dl'ing service pack 2 - sometime next week then!)
#7 is difficult to call like so many M&B castles.
#7 is warwick castle before the builders moved in and made into what it looks like today.
arms are the beauchamp family.
havent heard of that castle Dolbadarn where is it
@DragonsWarrior its on a spur between Lyn Padarn and Llyn Peris guarding the main routeway leading up the Llanberis Pass and into the heartland of Snowdonia. There's really only just the round keep left and the foundations of other buildings. Edward took out a lot of the timbers to build Caernarfon. Its believed Llywelyn held his brother Owain captive there until 1277.
o yes i remember that tower very cool cor they must live in some remote places
These models are amazing wilddog, will you be putting Pontefract Castle on the map as well as you have the De lacey family as one of the factions?
Well the castle is in as a settlement but unfortunaltey time itsn't on its side due to the time constraints with regard to being able to create it and convert via 3Ds max. Sorry.will you be putting Pontefract Castle on the map as well as you have the De lacey family as one of the factions?
They look great although the textures look a little light.

DW
agree with #12 being Caerphilly - awesome castle to visit.
#11 is Rhuddlan
the webb aviation site has a good selection of aerial photos of castles.

#10 has the same banner as chirk so that might mean its a mortimer casle - welsh marches?
