How do I get rid of the glowing buttons?

Hi, I have been retexturing the german states uniforms and I was wondering if anyone knows why there are still reflections of where the buttons used to be after I retextured the unit. I edited the normal map and I know the gloss map has nothing to do with this, so why is this happening? Does it have to do with the model?

Are the details appearing only in the shadow and disappear in the light? If so, It may have to do with the alpha of the normal file which affect the shadows... maybe it's something else...

I also know that sometime after coverting, editing, converting several times the same file, it may loose some data and some spot may appear... that the only thing else I could think of...

I think its reflecting in the light, ill have to check again just to make sure. Im sure its not the normal map because I edited those
