DID you plan to make more reagion in europa for your mod.
Actually the européan map is unfair, just one region for spain...We need more region to have better simulation of européan war.

Yes, once we can properly edit maps, the team does plan on adding more regions!

This would be done by splitting up larger current ones and filling out the map to make new ones.

We've even kicked the idea around about adding actual regions to capture in the trade theaters if possible!

That would be awesome! It does kinda suck at the moment that if you take Paris, then the whole of France is yours.

I agree, and this was one of my main gripes about it!

The other thing we would like to be able to fix, though it doesn't seem likely that we will have any means of doing so, is losing the whole game by losing in Europe.

Not working on, at least not yet.

It can't be done since we can't really edit the campaign map yet, at least not to add new land yet.

Once it is possible to complete the campaign map by adding new portions we will be looking to add regions in the trade theaters.

Would you see the different trade nodes then becoming the ports located in those regions? That would be pretty cool.

I'm still looking on GoogleEarth for large golden rings off the coasts of Madagascar and Brazail where boats can be seen lining up to take receipt of these amazing spontaneously generated trade goods.

Yes that is the goal, though the ports themselves would not be the node, the node would stay in the water and represent trade from the major port as well as outlying towns and ship-to-ship trade.

It could be quite a challenge. Are you thinking of adding new nations also? I think I know a few more states and territories that were in that time period.

When the map editing tools are devloped for the campaign I think the SOuth East Asia Trade Theatre could be a good starting point simply because its mostly just Islands.
