The first is not that funny, the second one a bit though. I don't like the green selection triangles and the unit flags and the sharp edges. (just go to photoshop and blut a litte)

Well if you take them out of phalanx formation and have them do a little running, and then once close enough to the enemy, reset the phalanx formation, they tend to get there quicker

Yeah, phalanx are great, as long as you use them properly, and don't let them get outflanked, then they can take out pretty much anything. (Exept maybe a big bunch of skirmishers :sick )
