    The trom.text file in part 2 looks a day older than the one in part 1. Which one do we use?

    It's possible... you may be seeing leftover units from last version if you are playing an ongoing campaign. They should phase out by themselves eventually. The new Westphalia infantry should be dark blue, like the rest of their units.

    Because of the added units, there are mismatches in the Custom Battles rosters. We'll fix it as best as we can.

    I had to remove the "Named" regiments from the selection because otherwise they would all show up for every nation. They are still there in the default army selection, however. Currently I do not know of any other way around this. For next version I'll try to clean up the Custom Battles...

    This is actually a feature
    We made it so that third party skin packs are compaitble, so you can easily install historical skins if you want to.

    Newest. The next version of Part 2 has that removed; it will stay in Part 1 from now on.

    hi again...i am playing russia and have taken crimea...i find that Chuguevski Cossacks are not recruitable in any barracks...i havent taken georgia or dag (they slaughtered all my armies ) is this intended?

    somehow this is strange... I only have the trom packs in my data folder... no other skin mods.

    but: westphalian line is still green coat, saxony is the same, they are the aor2 units in the packmanger, right?

    but shouldnīt westphalia be dark blue?
    hannover also is with purple pants and orange coats... they should be red, like in the AOR new units preview.

    what am I doing wrong? any ideas?

    I can't remember the exact location for the Chug Cossacks, but I know it's more than 1 area. I recruited both of my units in campaign in Georgia. I now have 1 unit fighting in Persia, and the other in Prussia!

    I think I know what's happening... we changed an internal naming scheme for our line units, for better compatibility and easier organization in the futre. But, in doing so, we would have broken old campaigns (which we didn't want to do!). So, we left the old units and old skins in, but unrecruitable. This means that you may have 'old' line units in your game with the old appearance -- but exactly the same name and description as the new units.

    I think that may be what you are seeing. If a new version of that unit is recruited, it should have the new appearance.

    hi...i was checking factions for the new units and i noticed that russia and england both cannot recruit currasiers (sorry spelling) spain and france can not sure about the other countries...

    no, tested new campaign with prussia:

    hannover lines are recruited by me: orange, purple pants.

    westphalia: dark blue units and green coats from old version.

    sorry, but I donīt have any other older versions installed, I have 1.22 part 1 and 1.21 part 2 installed!


    I know your concept of reserves with different color hats but basically same coat color should be applied also to westpahlia and hannover etc etc. but it doesnīt!

    no other mods are left inside my data folder...

    really doonīt know what to do else to get this working!

    Okay, we'll take a look at it. It may just be a bug. Enjoy the game for now, just don't look too close at these guys.

    Have you modified the stats on the Urban Militia Regiments? I just lost to 4 units of them... I had the basic Prussian regiments(5 of them) that you get in the beginning and they were better than my soldiers in a shoot-out so I figured I'd charge, but they whooped my ass O.o Also they seem to have longer range than my men :/

    Except for the Household Cav, the Brits didn't use Cuirassier, and household cav didn't even use it for most of the 18th century anyway AND they were pretty purely ceremonial.

    Regarding the Russians, a case could be made, but I don't think they were really widespread. Tomsin?

    OK;

    I am pretty sure that your current version is corrupt:

    polish infantry shows to be orange with purple pants. their reserves are properly red without the white stripe on the hat!

    - The polish line should be red with white stripe on the hat and white pants, same red coat as reserves, right?

    AND THIS: is how they should look like when I conquer poland and recruit... same with westphalen and hannover etc.

    I have no idea why the pack uses aor1 and aor2 models from textures... they should have been ironed out in this version as you said and the units should look like in your preview.

    I know you left them in for those who wanted to continue the campaign but I started new ones! (1.22 p1 and 1.21 p2)

    - Giving it up, the only thing I see are green wetphalian (aor2) and orange hannover (aor1) troops... thats ugly and I donīt understand why my version is screwed up... Following your 1.20 units preview I am confused.

    the trom-files are the only ones that are in my data folder! so a conflict is not possible...
