Game crashes when entering a battle in the Campaign.

Whenever I enter a battle in the campaign, the game crashes to the desktop, but I have no problem playing the custom games.
I can't really see the error it gives since I have to press enter before I can see anything.
I haven't patch the mod yet so I'll try that latter but I doubt that it will fix the problem.

Err... patches fix bugs, that's what they do. Install the patch...

Hmm I didn't know that crashes were considered to be bugs...( the reason I haven't install it is because I haven't d/l it and my connection is slow.
Well just in case the patches doesn't work, what else could have caused the problem?

Crashes are considered bugs. If the patch doesn't work, you'll likely have to re-install.

I have the same problem but I've already installed the patch 1.1
How to fix? I have to reinstall the whole mod or just the patch 1.1 and if even this wouldn't work?

Same crashes here mate, and wasnt able to solve them. Reinstalled, reinstalled in a new folder, reinstalled with new download, installed 2 times on top of each, got patch for kingdoms and tatw, bought even the gold version for i hoped it would work...

Nothing helped. Still crash every 2 or 3 battles just after the loading bar ends before entering the battlefield map. always 2 reasons are given (randomly): graphical error occured, or unspecified error.

Have to save before each battle and re-load if it crashes. Hope you find something pm me if yes plz.

This is really a frustrating problem, the mod is amazing but I just can't play it.
I've just tried to turn down all the graphical effects but the result is still the same.
Just after the loading bar ends before entering the battlefield map the game crashes

well folks... heres a bit of advice from someone modding the game, and having experienced crashes of every imaginable cause.

If you changed ANYTHING and I do mean ANYTHING it can cause a crash. So many files are linked together.

TATW is a MOD, and ironically it uses some M2TW files still, and some M2TW files will overwrite/ride TATW files. Like if you unpacked all the data in the M2TW file, and never even touched a TATW file... the geography txt and db file in M2TW/Data can crash your game on battle start.

That happened to me yesterday as I unpacked the game to get at some files and forgot to delete the geography stuff...

I've reinstalled everything and now the mod works quite perferctly!!!

Now I'm playing with Rhun holding 10/11 region at turn 24, I'm loving it...

No mods installed besides this one. Which files should I unpack to find the geography file?
I'll reinstall it but I'm having trouble locating my Medieval 2 DVD >_>
