heres kleo a few years later, ill pick up this campaign again when im done with the bean sidhe. this is on the previous release (2.6?). i was about to thrash the egyptians, too!



im too lazy to crop my desktop off, since i like to play atw in windowed mode while moderating.
notice the abundance of male mercenaries to hurl at pesky chariots

She is Flexible, Financially Irregular, but Devout at the same time. I just love putting a general's traits altogether and trying to imagine how that would work out.

And wow, nothing but mercenaries! I bet you are glad I put those Nubian Spearmen mercs, otherwise you would have no heavy infantry at all.

yeah, i played a few turns past this but have yet to take screenies of her. she got more war traits, like heroic savior and all. i have the saves on a cd so ill get back to it.
and yes, i am too cheap for a thumb drive.

how can play in windowed mode?

right click on your RTW desktop icon, go to properties. On the line called 'Target' scroll to the end and add ' -ne' (without quotation marks) you should now play in windowed mode.

Some progress screenshots of my Amazonia campaign. Playing H/H and I never retrain troops only merge them. Also I've reduced the movement point (action points) on the campaign map to 50 (I guess not at my gaming PC now).

I've attached screenies.

Year 261 - At war with the Selucid Empire, some battles occured my forces managed to hold the line.

Year 250 - The Greek declared war upon Amazonia too. It's getting difficult now. The previously conquered Ancyra was abandon and now is in Greek's hand. I tried to secure the bridges to keep the Selucid forces at bay.

Year 240 - Heraclea conquered though it's only a short victory withdraw my forces soon after that. The Greek forces are moving forward. At war with the Greek, Selucid and the Thracian and all seem to push against my position can't hold them off for long...

Year 230 - Heraclea is lost. On top of that I needed to agree to become a protectorate (never did so before, uncertain what comes with it). Things are looking grim.

Year 220 - A wind of change, the opportunity was there so I ordered an successful attack upon Ancyra and it's in Amazonian hands again. War against the Selucid has ceased due to the fact that Amazonia became a protectorate of the Thracian.

Year 215 - Pergamum is besieged by "Prothoe the scarred" and her army.

Year 210 - The Thracian declared war... again..., somehow I expected that. Pergamum was captured.

Year 203 - Hard battles against the Thracian. Managed to optain control over Heraclea again. Nicomedia was conquered too but is besieged by superior forces was lost reconquered already... reinforcements are on the way.

Year 198 - Current situation. Still at war with the Thracian forces and it looks like the Greek armies want their revenge and are preparing for war but neutral at this point.

Sidenote, consider the mini-map Rome is down and in general there are some interesting changes

Guess it's more like an After Action Report but hope it's okay in this section.
