Helmersen - Make sure after you set it, when in game do not go to any option screens as it will reset the change you made back to default. That may be your problem (I hope). My day is going great! How about yours!![]()
Will this work for NTW?
Militia Fix, Foreign Legions mod 7.0, EB's NTW Total Music, Knights of St. John mod, Napoleon Event Pictures, The Wardrobe of 1805 mod and the new Music of War.
!Under Proud Patronage of Gunny!
finally. was looking for this again.

Can this be applied to Grand Campaign? It'll be very cool, zooming out to see the entire grand campaign theatre.

Interesting idea --> i should try it.
When i saw one of the attached movies from youtube, i could say that this developers camera, is quite awesome ( but i don't have graphic settings to ultra....).

Remember of the Alamo!
Sorry for a little bit of threadomancy, but I'm suffering from a strange thing related to the debug camera (not a big deal, though).
When I use the debug camera, the depth of field feature simply deactivates. So I see choppy mountains as if they were right there in front of my battle line, not to mention the omnipresent sprites instead of distant soldiers, and enemy ships seen from afar are all pixelish and ugly. BUT, when I hit Delete and follow a unit, the depth of field magically returns, although it's definitely harder to control the battle. Depth of field vanishes again when I stop following a unit. The campaign map is unaffected (DOF is present).
What's stranger, when I enter the User Interface tab in game options during the battle, the depth of field activates permanently, but my camera becomes a strange hybrid - I can rotate it as if it was in debug mode, but I can only zoom in and out within the boundary set by "RTS" style camera, so I can't enter ships or buildings.
I just wonder what's wrong - has anyone else noticed the loss of depth of field with debug camera? If it's a permanent feature of the debug camera, I can live with it, as the camera itself is wonderful. But depth of field is a nice little thing, that makes everything more enjoyable.
I think you are experiencing what he warns us about, the new setting is lost if you to to any of the options menus or change anything...so it only works if you set it and then use it and it only. thanks again for this great tip.

I think this will work in mp as this is not a mod
thank u very much +rep if this is a useful thread!!!
There´s nothing wrong about it.
Everytime you would use the zoom function, the dof option deactivates automatically.
No bug.
It´s meant that way.
Using the dev cam causes the same outcome.
So, you can use the dev cam and position it where ever you desire (which is quiet beautiful).
If you would rather keep the dof feature (which is also very beautiful), you must delete the dev cam (or debug cam))
To keep the dev cam active, just paste the debug cam 2 line in your user script.
Yes, user script.
Thus you shouldn´t have to many issues with changing your graphic options.
(At least I haven´t had any problems, yet...)
I haven´t read all posts here.
So, if I am repeating anything, I feel sorry about that.
