hi , new to this so here it goes. i love this game and thaks to everyone who made it but i recentley got a new gaming computer so i need to download third age again but when i try the website gamefront crashes. i really want to play again so is there another place to download. many thanks
are you a steam user?
i have steam but try not use it because last time it messed my computer up and i had to get a new one.
I am currently playing as Harad with all my settlements and four other rebel settlements bordering Gondor. My economy seems quite adequate so i'm wondering why i only gain about 200 gold each turn. Then I saw my army expenditures and everything looked normal till i looked at corruption. It is at about 2800 gold per turn tat i lose due to corruption. I'm at like turn 28, is there anyway I can fix this? I currently have only 200 gold right now. Or do I have to start a new campaign and do it right the second time? and if the latter is the case, how do I minimize corruption?
Go read this thread mate. It´s full with pro tips
i downloaded part one and two but i cant download patch 3.1 or barons sub-mods because gamefront keeps crashing is there anywhere else i can download them from.

In 3.1 you cannot move on the bridge.
But is this something what will be patched or is it because of game limitations or something like that?
Game limitations my friend. Game limitations
Oh ok thanks for answer!
Hi.
Is there Mouth of Sauron at any way implemented in the game? I was searching for him, and I couldn’t find him. If he is, how, and if he isn’t why?
This question may sound weird to you, so here is the explanation:

If you object in any way, say so. Thanks in advance.
He is the advisor for the evil factions (you won't see him with your hints turned off). His picture also appears when you get a mission reward.
He is not in the game as a playable character though, but I can't tell you why not.
The Mouth of Sauron is there to welcome Sauron's guests, now Sauron doesn't get a lot of guests and he isn't very good at welcoming them either so why would you include him?
Looking to play a different faction than Gondor, but I play any other good faction, and don't know which way to expand and such, does anyone have a map of current settlements for the latest Third Age.
Thanks
Ha ha ha ha... that is not how I see him, but you may be right. Olorin, Elessar, Eomer, et al were not the most friendly guests though, if we look at it from the Dark Lord's perspective. One can understand the cool reception they get.
Well, the hobbits' fieldtrip to Mordor didn't really get a warm welcome either, Frodo first gets buttraped by a giant spider and his clothes get stolen by orcs and locked up high in a tower. After his buddy comes to get him they have to march with an orc batallion, he loses his finger and his precious ring and they get trapped on the side of an erupting volcano. This is only a warm welcome in one way and not the one you want.
Again, they were not exactly friends of the Dark Lord. Had they subjected themselves to him, abased themselves, grovelled in the dirt and generally been nice instead of sneaking in to assassinate him irrevocably, they would have recieved a much more hospitable welcome I am sure.
Though he would torture Frodo for a while for keeping the One from him, but after that... perhaps... I think...
Oh well... The Dark Lord is not one of the good guys is he? He has to be a bit nasty or it will ruin his reputation as Evil Overlord and what would happen then? Perhaps all the Orks would sit and smoke weed and make love...
Any one have a good combo for that Barrons mod, just installed, too many options lol.
I just want a campaign that doesn't start with units who lose to orcs. And some money!
I play Gondor!
