Hey Guys Any Tips or strategies i could use against Mordor as the High Elves i am at Turn 90. Here's my current situation i Found the One Ring and i accepted the White Council event and i am on my way to Mordor to destroy it i have 2 full stacks and 1 half of a stack (Here is my Ring-bearer). Isengard , OOMM are already destroyed , OOG are almost finish and are fighting with their last stronghold (Carn-Dum) against Arnor so they will fall soon. Rohan manage to capture the Dead Marshes (Malgalad ect) and Gondor has turn the tide of the War against Mordor they own all of Ithilien and are sending troop to Minas Morgul to capture it. Silvans are fighting Mordor and Rhun and Dol Guldur has fallen too. But Mordor itself is still to hard to invade the Black Gate is Full and Barad-Dur too and in order to destroy the ring i need to be in Mount Doom for 5 turns so i am going to experience huge orc armies once i penetrate the Black Gate i dont know if i can hold 5 turns at the heart of Mordor any tips ? ( I Dont want to loose and give Mordor the chance to get the Ring and Sauron O.o)

Are changes in descr_regions.txt save-compatible? I'd like to change Amon Sul attribute from 'mountains' to 'grasland', and avoid messing up my game save...

Its a sub-mod for Third age total war that adds many new features and is for 3.1 only I think

yeah, barons mod allows you to do this, havent seen it happen yet, but the idea is pretty cool. only problem is, gangalf the grey is with eriador/arnor and gandalf the white spawns for gondor after Grey dies

Anyone know what I'll have to build to be able to recruit the Smith of Eregion ? I already got the Eregion province so it must be to simply build the right building for them to be recruitable, right ?

In 1.4 you have to get a guild first.

believe you have to wait for last barracks script thing to happen, then build the highest barracks... might want to wait for confrimation from someone else though just to make sure this is accurate

I know that I need the guild first but I don't know what building you have to build to have the option in the first place. For exemple the woodman guild, you have to build archery range and train archer than when your city reach a certain level they gave you the option to build the guild.

So what I need to build the guild when my city reach Large_Town ? Did I need to build blacksmith or Army barracks ? That's what I'll like to know.

You need to construct leather tanners, blacksmiths, armourers in your settlements to score points. When you have scored enough points, then the guild will become available to you. More info can be found in: export_descr_guilds.txt
