This evening I have seen at least 2 apachies and 4 Chinooch helecopters carrying light artilary at about 8 this evening, with at least 4 more chinooch helecopters flying over (unknown cargo as it was dark), with (probably) 2 more apachies.

We often have hercules military transport planes flying low over us her (North Dorset UK) because we are close to both Yeovilton military airbase and westlands which is a helecopter maufacturing plant where they test both helecopters and pilots.

The srange thing this evening was that they were flying south towards the coast, not going to Salisbury Plain which is the nearest place where the military practice, so this was a very strange direction for them to be going.

We never see this much movement of equipment around here, especially with Apache escort.

More troops and equipment moving to Iraq?

    Anyone else see this ?

I heard that the UK is about to send more troops to Afganistan, even pulling some of there troops out of sourthern Iraq. Im not sure where you stand politcally, so i will not make mention of my politics. That is what I heard on the news and read in the paper recently....
