Thread: Boniface's campaign

    Default Boniface's campaign

Imagine how great this campaign would be if you would just control Africa, like Boniface.... and Vandals a bit more stronger and agressive.... THEN it would be amazing feeling to play, in Africa Boniface's roman provinces and continental Euro, roman empire is enemy of yours.

Now this would be amazing as you would really feel like Boniface

Because although this is a great mod, it is not realistic to control ALL of it.... you cannot bring help from Africa as you are outlaw/rebel now....

Good point indeed Perhaps it could be implemented as another provincial campaign... It would certainly create a great challenge and atmospheric gameplay.

Bonifacius played a pivotal role and was certainly one of the strongest men of this era and he was certainly made interesting by the two protagonists story line between him and Aetius. Quite the political palace intrigue going on with Aeties, Bonifacius and Galla Placidia. Aetius would use his Huns and Bonifacius would use the Vandals to promulgate their positions. and Placidia whom was really the power of the throne tried as best she could to real them in. I think she desperately tried to balance each other off. Too bad the mod cant properly depict the woman who was true power behind the throne at this time but Bonifaces quest to be Master of the the soldiers within Africa(briefly an outlaw) does seem like to me a pretty cool idea for a submod or provincial campaign
