Hey guys! I've just recently played a small campaign through the 6.2 patch and i can say that I am deeply impressed with the newer improvements (following the small patches and a small additional patch that is specifically made for hotseats.

Though, It has come to my attention that I have quite a few options to pick from if I wanted to start a game, and I will do a poll on which one you would want to start.

    The Options are.
    Early Regular Hotseat
    Late Regular Hotseat
    Early Dual Alliances Hotseat
    Late Dual Alliances Hotseat

The reasons why I want to do this in 6.2, and start making games in 6.2 are in this spoiler.
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

    1. Bug Fixes
-Fixed more bugs than you can imagine and corrected many typos, greatly enhancing game play and reducing the number of CTD's in strategy map to 0! (in over 30 150+ turn games no CTD at all!)

    2. AI Update
-AI won't let the human player get a lot of alliances and live a peaceful life!
-AI will form alliance block to fight against the common enemy, human or computer!
-AI really likes to do a TOTAL WAR!
-The Golden Horde will try to annihilate anything on its path!

    3. Map fine-tune
-Greatly enhanced AI's pathfinding - no more armies wandering around without a reason!
-No more will the armies get stuck or march back and forth in the same positions!

    4. Improvements
    -Adjusted the bonuses of buildings!
    -Reduced AI Army Spam!
-More resources on the map for the taking of your greedy merchants!
-Added the battle editor - now you can make your own historical battles on SS!
    -New interactive event - Troubadours!
    -New/updated traits and ancillaries!
-Playable hotseat Late Era using the Swapper!
    -Including castle strategy models!
    -Including New EE watchtower model!
    -Including text improvements by Ketchup!
    -Including Darker nights mod!
    -Including Sky/weather mod!
    -Including Smoother Steppes!
-Including unit info cards by Y2day!
-Factions don't want to be destroyed - vassalage/ceasefire code improved
-Scotland won't take Bruges and then try to annihilate HRE
-Families have a lot bigger chance of sticking to the "royal line" with the blood line traits
    -Settlement growth revamped
-Some of AI's priests will be immune to heresy
-Changes in hungary: historical names, gyusmth castle changed to Brasov city.
-Jerusalem got itself a bloodline trait
-New SS factions got new bonuses in their bloodline traits (instead of just +1 loyalty)
-AI faction heirs/leaders more proficient in combat and management of their fearsome troops
    -Diplomat speed increased
-Mongol invasion is now connected to the difficulty level
-Mongol invasion is a lot weaker now (still scary)
-Added crowns for many factions (however not all of them, sometimes 2 or 3 factions share the same crown)
-Agart's new cities/castles strat models included.
-Crusaders declaring war on Byz every time they pass their lands fixed.
-Money script removed, instead of it a new type of a script was introduced.
The AI will get additional money per every settlement in their possession.
Each settlement will give the AI additional 500 florins per turn.
-Y2Day's faction symbols and splash screen
    -Some minimal balance tweaks

    6. Difficulty system.
It has came to my attention that some people are not prepared for this sudden boost.
    Right now:
    easy/medium SS6.2(both are nearly same) = hard/very hard SS6.1(both are nearly same)
hard SS6.2 = really hard game
very hard SS6.2 = with some factions nearly impossible (try playing Late Era with moors, khwarezm or hre)

    7. (Hotseat Patches)
-All Settlements lower than 1000 have been boosted to 1000-1200 to prevent "Dead Settlements".
-All Nations have received a 500+ additional bonus to their King's Purse. While this is not so much of a big deal toward the larger countries, the smaller ones receive more of a advantage with it.
-Very Small Adjustments to balancing issues.

    Rules no matter what game!
    -No Crusades at all.
    -No assassinations of FAMILY MEMBERS
    -Maybe something about spies...

    Easy Install Method-
Simply copy + paste a new SS 6 folder into your mods, Rename the one you want to use as 6.2 as the original SS folder, Then install the easy to use self installer into the Sega folder. and presto! you have a 6.2 and a 6.1 folder, To simply switch versions, simply rename the folder you want as the original name.

I'm not against 6.2, I can make another installation folder for it.

I'll try England if the campaign comes to life.

Kaizer, maybe you should start a list of factions on the first post.

Hmmmm, there seems to be like a game half way full as well in the .org... I might want to try to merge with them

To be honest, since this has gotten such low interest, and the new one at the .org has been going crazy, i've decided to merge my ideas / rules / patch in their game, and joining them together.

    This is the thread.

I believe that their are 3 options left...

    France

    Baltic Area

    Scandinavia or Iberia.
